  • 1 חֲבוּטָא m. (חבט) (hash, giblets. Lam. R. to I, 1 נסב ח׳ ומעיא (רבתי) Ar. (ed. Koh. חבו׳, Var. קרביא; ed. בני מעיא) he took the giblets with the entrails.

    חוֹבְלָןm. (חָבַל) a wasteful, reckless person. Treat. Smah. IX, end שלא יהא ח׳ (Var. חבלן) not to be reckless by throwing garments upon the dead to be buried with them.
